It is with great sadness that tell you that one of our own Destiny Knight, Avery Smith, aka Jesska/Timbuck, passed away yesterday. He was 24 years old, and brother to another Destiny Knight, Jon (Kahmal). Currently, it is not known why he passed away, but a heart attack is suspected. His girlfriend found him at his house. Avery has always been a good friend of mine, even though we never met. We've had many hours of fun together over the last 8 years. Avery never failed to make you smile and laugh. He will be so greatly missed.
We love you, Avery.

Oh no!!!! I'm really sorry to hear that
Best of wishes to Jon and his family, definitely awesome people in my book and I, too, wish I could have met him before he passed.

May God Bless his family in this troubling time, this is such sad sad news, way too young for a Dker to pass.
If we have any old pics from the previous DK site, let's get a post on the Front Page in his honor.

Let me know if you need some and I can get them from his sister's facebook. It would be a nice thing to do, thanks Darth.

Jon, I am so sorry to hear about Avery (Timbuck). I will always remember the late night sessions on Teamspeak playing Dark Age of Camelot. You fellas from Ohio cracked me up so much I learned not to drink Pepsi around you guys while we were on Teamspeak. For the first time in many a year, I am at a loss for words. Jon, your hidden reserves of strength will carry you through these dark days. Your friends from coast to coast are with you.
The Pirate King remembers. <salute>

My best memories of Timbuck was when we were a part of the "stealth zerg", 8+ Lurikeen Nightshades and Rangers camping bridges, towers, keeps, owning people. Timbuck, Kahmal, and Trimen would keep me in stiches. Those were the days of my misbegotten youth. Teamspeak, Hot Pockets, Cheetoes, and Mountain Dew was all I needed. Yeah, and the bot PC too. The DK bot army would camp Drum Ligen and keep us supplied with yellow buffs. Timbuck, the Pirate King misses you already.

He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.

I'll miss our Beer O' Clocks, a tradition we started in WoW. I remember guild hopping in the games we played after DAoC, and always bringing the Beer O' Clock tradition with us! Great times, great times. I'll be sure to have some more Beer O' Clocks with Jon, in Avery's memory. Hang in there, Jon, if you're reading this. We love you.

I will remember and cherish the times and laughter we had in our finest hours sitting before lit screens across great expanse separated by continental lands masses yet together united in one spirit. Were I to re-start this life I lead I would not change a thing of those times, those memories, those revelries we shared at our communal meetings in the Cyber world. forever etched in my soul is the experiences we had as a extended family and I am terribly saddened that one so young so full of joy one who shared our journey is no more amongst us. Weep not my Extended family for now we have more to look forward to this next life. A guide to the hereafter awaits our journey to the other side and when we all meet again in the world beyond; it will be BEER O' Clock everlasting!
